Made fast by a band,
or by chains or fetters;
obliged by moral ties;
About; on all sides; encircling; encompassing; as, a lambent flame around his brows.

I laugh every time I see that comic on my mom's fridge. Every Single Time. Even now, when it's been there for years.So dang funny and appropriate for my quilter mommy and her friend.Thanks for posting and giving me a giggle.
Um... yes... um..... Hahaha!!!
I never ever tire of that comic! Still chuckle over it. I was thinking the other day that I should take it off the frig but then I caught myself smiling, yet again....and just couldn't! It is sooooooooo our obsession! :)
Omigosh--and it can be applied to *anything* a mom does . . . for me it's applying flowers with a glue gun. Imagine the prom dress I could create with that! Oh--wait! It just occured to me that my daughter's wedding dress could probably use some embellishment!!! Where's my glue gun . . .
I should have insisted Miss Cindy quilt me a wedding dress! HA! That would have been so funny.Love the comic, like Jen, I snicker and snort everytime I read it on the fridge at the folks house. Soooo funny.Love love love yoU!!! Can't wait for the fabu bean dip and seeing your lovely face at the reception!
OMG...that sounds so like my mom.Although, in this instance, she would have just given me HER prom dress. Cause, ya know, she throws nothing out...Hee hee
